Dipl. Arch. Daniela M. Racheva

D.Racheva completed her apprenticeship at several architecture firms here in Sofia, including a stint with international firm and its office in Bulgaria, before she became a partner in “Gravity Design”Ltd. in 2008. After that she started her own practice. She has designed a multitude of residential and commercial projects in Bulgaria both contemporary and traditional.

D-aRch-Studio knows that the best projects are result from close collaboration with our clients-that’s why we strive to listen and discuss our client’s goals extensively before even beginning to put pencil to paper. Only once we have a full understanding not only of project tasks, but our client’s specific needs, personal tastes and life goals do we attempt to interpret these into a graceful, lasting work of architecture. DAS design buildings that are definitely contemporary, yet follow classic architecture ideas about proportion and detail that allow projects to age gracefully over time giving them a certain independence from “of-the-moment” style and trend. We respect the origins of the classic “modernist box” but prefer to add warmth, texture and detail that make for unique and inviting spaces often through abundance use of warm woods. Simple but interesting textures and careful merging of landscape with building, that counters the sterility often seen in many contemporary designs. Our subcontractors company in development, construction and assessment of investment projects allows us to provide our clients with a single source, if desired, for all of their project needs from start to finish often resulting in a level of quality-control that is difficult to surpass.
